TELL IT LIKE IT IS CD $15.00 + shipping and handling The latest CD "Tell It Like It Is" was released in October of 2010 and is another collaboration between Philadelphia producer Chris Arms and Deb. The CD features 9 new original songs and a cover of "Funkier Than a Mosquita's Tweeter" originally performed by Tina Turner and written by her sister Aillene Bullock as well as "Cold Irons Bound" a Bob Dylan tune. The road tested band including Allen James, Garry Lee and Tom Walling with special guests Jason Crosby and Matt Cappy bring a live feel to the tracks. The songs are blues based with gospel, soul, rock and jazz influences and deal with a range of topics and issues such as feeling love and joy, finding spirituality, giving voice to the experience of homeless children without family support and how hard it can be to make life changes. |

GRACE & GRIT CD $15.00 + shipping and handling The latest CD "Grace & Grit" was released in September of 2008 and was produced by Philadelphia's Chris Arms. The CD features Deb's original music, a cover of "Hallelujah I love him so" one of her favorite Ray Charles songs and a few a capella snippets by Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell and Aretha Franklin who have all been strong musical influences. One of the goals of this record was to go for a more live sound and capture the energy and spontaneity that live performance can bring. Thus all the vocal tracks were recorded live in the studio. "Grace and Grit" has a strong blues base but encoporates gospel, soul, rock and jazz elements and thematically the material ranges widely from songs about being a single mother trying to make it America on "Food on the Table" to the humorous "No Taxi Driver" about receiving too many wrong number phone calls from people looking for a taxi. |

THE BLUE PEARL CD $15.00 + shipping and handling "The Blue Pearl" was released in November of 2005 and features 12 new original songs and a cover of a classic Paul Butterfield tune "Lovin Cup". Callahan's top-notch band consists of Philly greats Allen James on the guitar, Garry Lee on bass and Doug Master on drums. "The Blue Pearl", produced by Chris Arms also features him on slide guitar and acoustic instruments. Steve Achenbach and Reggie Johnson handle keyboard duties and Mikey Jr. on the harmonica. |

IF THE BLUES HAD WINGS CD $15.00 + shipping and handling "If the Blues Had Wings" is the 2002 debut CD and combines funky New Orleans rhythms, exotic delta blues, gospel influenced blues and rock to create sultry, soulful blues music.This CD features 11 original songs, a Bob Dylan cover and a few short outakes of songs written by female blues legends Memphis Minnie, Victoria Spivey and Edith Johnson. The CD was produced by guitar player Jon Dichter and Callahan and recorded by Mike Comstock at Indre Studios in South Philadelphia. There was also some additional production/recording by Andy Kravitz of Brickhouse Productions and keyboard player Walter Runge. Musicians include band members Runge, piano, Robbertto Rickards, bass, Tom Walling, drums plus the talents of Billy Baltera and Allen James on guitars. Special guests include George Bonds (doing a duet with Callahan), Mike Brenner "Slo-Mo" on the dobro and Seth Holzman on harmonica. |
